Hi all

Shyler has a little lump, i'm not going to get at all excited about this one as so far my lumps have not ended up in babes.

Right, so additional protien is needed for her yes?  Whats best source to use?

She has been SUPER clinging over the past few days or so, i wonder if it is related to her carrying a little one?

Also - How will this effect the introduction of the new furball Eos?

Ickle one came out of pouch last night!!!!!

My first ickle one!!!!!!

bless, little thing clinging on for dear life to shylers belly, shyer doing the very strange looking walk, like she in on tip toes, bless her!

i didn't see the joey at all until h/she was fully out of pouch, until last night just an ever increasing lump on her belly, then on tuesday i did notice that her pocuh opening was stretched open, i knew then it wouildn't be long - and pop - now s/he's out!

Yeah!!

Fingers crossed, i dont want to go stressing her at all.

she spent a few moments crawling about on me last night but is well and truly hiding away, not even sleeoing in the normal spot with the gang, buried herself away with her little one and dad being close by.

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited  Grin

Awwww, congratulations Rox.  It's funny seeing them do that funny walk!  They WILL carry on regardless!!!  One of my females was standing on her food bowl on tip toes whilst the little one suckled, bless  Smiley

right, is there anything i can be doing to make her life easier?

I noticed last night that she didn't come out much at all - is this normal?  What about food and drink for her?  Shall i move her closer to the food and drink?  Should i limit her free range?

poor little sausage, just picturing her crawling about on tip toes.

Don't do anything different, there wouldn't be someone moving the food sources nearer to them in the wild would there?

I always thought it was the worst time of having a carrying Mom... Waiting for when you can handle the joey!!!  I am so impatient! Grin
