Just wanted your thoughts on tonights invention Grin
mainly because I think I've made enough to last the little guys about 6 months -.-

sorry for the vague measurements it was a sort of spur of the moment throw it together kinda thing Undecided..

about 3 handfuls of raspberries
2 handfuls of blueberries
a slice (about 1/8th) of a melon

1/2 a pint(ish) Huh of apple juice

a sprinkle of Glider cal & booster & bee pollen
a handful of mealworms
2 dessert spoons of honey

4 figs
a handful of cranberries
a few slices of cucumber
a few slices of Mango
& a handful of oats

They are loving it, and I have tons more frozen in portions, this is to eat along side various daily vegetables, insects  insectivorefare and the cat food (still not delighted with the cat food but can't argue with the logic, and the suggies are not too impressed with a toothbrush) :Tongue
and the occassional mix of ..... :-\stuff Cool Wink
occassional boiled egg, bit of cheese, cheerio and whatever else they blackmail me into sharing with their persuasive ways

Still a bit worried Ripley seems to be overweight, although all the boys are looking gorgeous, impossible to reduce her food intake because Blade is such a delicate eater.

The Joeys are growing fast and eating well wub

Although I have to say it sounds quite yummy, (well apart from the mealies Grin )I would only feed food I have made up making sure the c/ph ratios are correct.  You need the right weights to work that out and from what I can see you havent worked the ratios out.  Also I dont feed honey and having any suppliments in it if its going to last a long time is prob not ideal.  I do put my vits in then freeze but it will all be used up pretty quick.
Sorry I am pretty strict when it comes to my lots diet.

Experimenting is fine as long as you work out the ratios.
How many dishes do you put in the cage?  If its only 1 you could try 2.  Do you want me to email you some fruit/veggie recipes where the ratios are all worked out?  If so I have about 20 different ones so just pm me your email if you do.

Tillie I have 3 bowls in the cage, one with the dry food (insectavore & cat food) one with my mix and another with either fresh fruit or that sugar mix (instant food) and the other with either fresh fruit and veg or a boiled egg or yogurt, I try and put something different in there every day. ....and I give them treats yoghurt drops, mealworms or crickets now and then when we're spending a bit of time together each night

There's a bit of a hippy in my soul that says in the wild they wouldn't have mathematically worked out the balance Huh they'd know what they'd need,

but yeah, Ripley's excess is telling me otherwise -.-

I used to let Missy out but keep Boo in his cage for a bit so he could eat as Missy used to scoff everything, now when they both come out, he goes in and out to eat and she waits until she gets put back in their cage to eat. I only give them cat biscuits by hand as they don't eat them otherwise. They only fight over yoghurt drops!!
