Hi
I am new to sugar gliders, and brought my new baby girl home last weekend.
BUT she doesnt seem to be eating much if anything at all !!!! HELP !!
She has had a few licks of the baby food i was given by the breeder. but has not touched any of her fruit  , youghart or mealworms. i even tried honey and she hasnt touched it.
She is 4 months oop. she is currently on her own until her friend is ready to be collected at the beginning of may. do you think its because she is lonley?
or that she is still settling in? ( seems very nervous and shakes  Sad aswell as crabbs at me alot!!!)
Any help appreciated !

Hi
It is in little chunks probably no more than 1cm square. should i try blending it?
The breeder gave me 2 varietys of baby food that she say they like, a chicken and sweetcorn one and a fruit and youghart one?

I wouldn't give baby food as more than anything than a special treat.  Can be used as a bonding/licky treat, but that's it, really...

Try blending it...  It stops them being picky about what they eat and getting the full nutritional value of the mixes we come up with.  What fruit/veg mixes are you using?

I wouldnt feed baby food apart from as a treat or in an emergency.  Make sure it has no onion in it.  I would try blending up a variety of fruit and veg that is the right c/ph ratio's.  Try pulling the mealworms in half and squeezing the insides out and then offer it to her  :-S

If you want some recipes that have already had the c/ph ratios worked out pm me your email addi

I blend mine and then put into ice cube trays and freeze then take out what I want of an evening.  Just work out the correct 2:1 ratio per batch
