Humph - bout bloody time!!!! Welcome to SL Jen, good to see you here. With all your experience I'm sure you'll be a valuable member. I didn't realise you were in Manchester, that's not too far away from me - well, about an hour up the M6!

Fanx muchly for the welcome! Sorry, Marie, but I am terrible at doing ANYTHING in a reasonable amount of time. I grew up in Puyallup, WA (I'd love to listen to the UK natives trying to pronounce that one!), although, I traveled a lot as a kid, cuz my parents were both in the USAF... I do consider Puyallup home, though. Where abouts are you, Marie? I got my very first sugar glider at the ripe old age of 10...

You'd probably love to listen to a native Texan transplanted 23 years ago to CA try to pronounce Puyallup, too! I've no clue how to say that. Sounds like a native American name. . .

My Mom and all her family live in Texas. It is a Native American name, actually. And pronounced PEW-AL-LUP. You don't live too far from the inlaws, I don't think, Marie... They are in Telford.

My Mom lives just outside of San Antonio... A little town called McQueeney. The rest of that side of the family are scattered around TX. OOO!!! May have to come have a look at your shop one of these days, then, Marie!

Ahhhh, Lake McQueeney. Spent many many weekends eating McQueeney specials at the Millers' (Mueller sp?) ski lodge when I was a teenager in the late 60s. I loved being a kid at Lake McQueeney.

Lol, we have to make do with Madely Ski Centre - Rich teaches snowboarding there. Not quite as nice McQueeny I'm sure!
Jen you're more than welcome at the shop.

McQueeney is water skiing only. It is in south central Texas - home of scrub, prickly pear and blazingly hot summers.
