My sugar glider has been sneezing, at least I think he's sneezing. He makes that kind of squeeky sound that hamsters make sometimes. He also does this clicking sound sometimes. Is he ok?

Clicking isn't good... In small animals, clicking is a sign of respiratory distress and if the sneezing is actually sneezing, that would compound it.

You've got ot be kidding me! If he is sick I'm gonna be really pissed off! I just got him and I don't have the money for a vet. He's eating fine and playing.

I am going to wait for somebody else to come along, cuz I've never actually heard respiratory illness in any gliders I've had (and that includes rescues)... I am linking it from other small critters that it is very common in.
If he is ill, I'd be on the phone to the (crap) breeder you got him from and demand they pay his veterinary bills, if I were you... phear

He doesn't do the ticking all the time. The only time I have heard it is when he is in the pouch with me but I don't really listen for things like that other times. The sneezing has been going on since I got him.
My mom doesn't think bryan would do that to us but he sure did want to get ride of elvis quick. If He is sick I will call him and have a little talk. I don't really wanna cause problems because he works at the pet shop we go to so it's not like I won't see him.
How much do you think the vet bill will cost for something like that?

I honestly have no idea about vet prices over there... The one time I took a glider to a vet, he charged me $30 to just weigh her and tell me to watch her weight... Was not impressed!!!! And said glider ended passing away from her illness and she was my baby girl (avvie pic)...
Could he be chattering to you in the pouch, maybe??

Anything like that would be a vet trip to me... I dunno if there's anything you can do at home.

They often do a sneezy sound when they are cleaning themselves, they sneeze into their paws and then you see them cleaning their faces etc...does he do this? The clicking is it the sort of noise as if you were to click your tongue? if so this is him chattering. But without actualy hearing it its hard to say. If you have any worries then its best if you can get him checked out. Go here http://www.glidercentral.net/sounds/sounds.php click on chattering...does it sounds like that?

I couldn't tell if he was cleaning himself because he was in his pouch on my lap. The ticking kind of sounds like the chatering but not as fast and it sounds a tad different. but doesn't each glider sound different? I'm not really sure if it's sneezing either though. If you've ever had a hamster they kind of do this squeeking/sneezy sound and it sounds like that. It's kind of a squeek with an air sound in it.

Kinda more airy than an actual sneeze? If so, they normally do that Like I said before, cattering is normal, as well, if that's what he's doing. But when in doubt, like Tillie said, make him an appt at a vet just for a quick check up.
