I was doing a bit of homework while out in the shops n looking at the cat food. compared the IAMs box ingredients to this other one Go Cat. Go Cat biscuits info showed calcium 1.3% and phosp 1.2%, 32%protein etc. that is still an ok balance as calciums only just slightly higher.
Where do you guys tend to buy papaya etc. Looked in Asda and could only find the prepacked papaya n mango fruit mix rather than the individual fruits,
You need to use a QUALITY cat biscuit such as Iams or James Well Beloved, it's not JUST to do with the ca:p ratio, it's all the ingredients. Go Cat is NOT advised for gliders. thanks v much not IAMS Cats, IAMS Gliders

If the ratio is 2.08:1 ca:p, yes, it's great.

if you give your gliders a little egg instead of biscuits. how much egg would be sufficient? the same weight as the biscuits would total?

because my boys are picky eaters i have real problems getting ratos exact so i have to use five bowls in there cage. I have one for fruit pieces, another for a blended mix because they won't eat veg unless its blended with fruit and yoghurt or pure fruit juice, another for acacia gum, one for glider booster and one for their porrige in case they don't want their fruit, is this ok as it sounds like most people only give them blended stuff

Acacia gum and glider booster is best added to the mixture, otherwise there is no guarantee they are getting it. If you are using dry oatmeal then again, I'd recommend adding it to the mixture. If you're mixing it with water then it's fine to give it in a separate bowl. Don't give them too much choice else you are risking them choosing bits they like which isn't always what is best for them, that is also the reason we blend the food.

Right, I understand the Ca:P ratios, how much to give etc, cheers guys , Karma too. However, if giving egg, how much do I give, and calcium supplements how much of that? I still don't understand all these other vitamins and supplements at all , and how much to give, how often etc Also, do these mixtures given have the nessecary protein? How much protein to fruit do I give? Theres too much talk on ca:p ratios and not enough of everything else in my opinion Cheers peeps

If you follow these recipes then you don't need maths. Just get a small set of scales so you can weigh in grams. )
