Ah bless poor Clark, they should never put stitches in for that very reason.  Im sure he will be fine just keep an eye on him and carry on as normal.  He will be prob running in his wheel later Grin

see i said that to him but he said thats how he does hes and usually they never bother but as soon as clark came round he pulled it straight out the vet said thier is a hole but it will heal fine i hope so!! they gave him lots of treats which he took very happily seeing as he didnt eat the night before and they were amazed that he didnt make a peep. They said they look forward to the sound gliders make but clark was silent which im not surprised as hes never been vocal in fact ive never hearded him crab or bark!!

They heal very quickly, so don't worry about the 'hole', just keep your eye on it.  I'm surprised TBH, I always stress that any stiches should be internal, I've never had a problem with any of mine.  The other thing is - it's a gliders first instinct to chew when they come around, and because you left him nothing to munch on he found something!  The vet rang Rich and asked him to take him something, which he did.  Roll Eyes

Mine is going in to be done tomorrow, I've asked Rich to quiz him as to why (or how) Clarke pulled out internal stitches.

Rich spoke to the vet today about Clarke, apparently Clark's balls hadn't dropped properly so he needed to make a larger incision.  The stitches were internal, but because Clarke was so tame he wasn't bothered about what was going on around him so he concentrated on grooming himself!   Roll Eyes

The testicles should be dropped by 70 days OOP, it's just one of those things, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.  Who did you have him off?
