Hello All, Yesterday, I nervously, I may add went and seen Marie at Shropshire Exotics. Being the oh so confident person I am, All I could say was "There so cute!" over and over . But I have to say, I think I'm in love, After one of them was running on my coat I was rather taken by how small they are and also how docile Maries girls were. I know If I had gliders they wouldn't be so dosile due to those having to be hand fed but wow! Here I am rambling as usuall! But I think I have got the bug! I have spent all day Reading about them and havn't even replied to emails or anything! Just have to convince someone before I can get a pair! Richy~

You've got the bug, my friend! Did you meet Dinx then? If so, you've met such a lovely little suggie there. <3 Now, if you're serious about getting a pair (as you seem to be!) then it's on to some heavy research. We'll be here to answer any questions you have. You need to decide on diet, housing, work out costs etc and all that lark.

Cerian, Yes Dinx and a Friend, The same have totally slipped my mind! Diet, I have a question on Diet, I understand the Ratio, But I've spend some time trying to mix and match some foods that hit the ratio, And I just can't! I've been looking on Ebay and they seem to have some suitable cages there... Thanks for the offer and help, Believe me, I will take up the offer is needed Richy

Well, here's the mix I personally use (I'll copy paste from the diet section): Papaya = 4.8:1 (that's 4.8 calcium molecules to 1 phosphorus molecule) Fig = 2.5:1 (that's 2.5 ca molecules to 1 p molecule) Mango = 0.9:1 (that's 0.9 ca molecules to 1 phos molecule) Apple = 1:1 (thats 1 ca molecule to 1 phos molecule) Pear = 1:1 (that's 1 ca molecule to 1 phos molecule) Add these down, calcium molecules would total 4.8+2.5+0.9+1+1=10.2 Phosphorus molecules would total 1+1+1+1+1=5 Then divide the calcium total by the phosphorus total, 10.2 divided by 5 = 2.0:1 So your ca:p ratio is 2:1 With that I mix in a few Iams +1 cat biscuits, yoghurt, chicken breast etc on different days. I combine that with a staple diet of Insectivorfare. Then calcium supplement and vitamin supplement, all topped off with a little sprinkling of beepollen. I also place branches in the cage with holes drilled into them and fill the holes with gliderade so that it simulates the sap-sucking they do in the wild. I have some other combinations too, and when I get home tonight I'll list them, if I remember! As for cages, we'd be happy to offer our opinion on them if you link to the ebay auctions.

Lol, Richy, I was more nervous than you, I have zero confidence (in fact I think I'm in minus figures!).
Richy met Lily monster and Dinky Lou (Dinx), Dinx was in a mardy mood and just wanted her bed, bless, Lily on the otherhand wanted to explore!
My girls are adorable, but that doesn't mean your suggies (if you get some) won't be like that. Of course they'll need some time to get used to you and their new surroundings, Ceri's girls are adorable and just as tame and they weren't hand reared.

Haha, I had no Idea what to say Marie lol! And oh my Marie, How do you cope in that room! I had was sweating my ass off haha! Btw, My other half was more interested in finding the Lizards he had, Anoles? but I don't think you had any. But he was taken back with those tiny little ones by the poisinus snakes, I think they were £35. Look what you've gone and done, He wants lizards now haha I know what my gliders would be like, Naughty little ones, I never seem to get the good animals lol But me being me, They would litteraly go EVERYWHERE with me! Also, I will have a go at those pouches tomorrow, I will go get some fleece and see what I can do. The pouches you had were nice, But, They are so simply made! What do you think of the other cages I posted? Suitable? Richy~

£35 - were those the sungazer lizards? They're too cute Your suggies wouldn't be bad, spoilt maybe (like everyones) but not bad. The cages are fine, I actually have a number of the first one.

So true ~ My girls weren't hand raised and yet they've never crabbed at me, and only bitten Neil once!

I want to put in a plug for a couple of neutered males as pets. They are such easy keepers and I'm sure Marie will be having some male joeys at some point. I take them most everywhere w/me (all three lol). They are curious, calm little guys who, after neutering at 4 months oop, are interested in new people and new adventures.

Males are lovely, unfortunately they seem to be overlooked by many because they all want females! Having a neutered male is just like having a female
