Having had neutered males and females, I really prefer the neutered males. Since the females are biologically prepared to grow and nuture babies, they can have much more of an inward or solitary sort of focus [that's probably not a good description lol] whereas the males, if neutered before they have completely developed their secondary sexual characteristics, have all the good qualities of a female but are still curious in the way that males are.

And they never have to deal with the hormonal thing of their bodies preparing for joeys and the urge to mate. If they are neutered just before adulthood, I think they are like females, only even easier. No pouch to get infected, no hormonal issues that cause overgrooming, etc. . . . They are great little pets.
