Im EXTREMELY AGAINST hand rearing joeys unless there is one hell of a good reason. E.g. mother rejects.

That's why I say this - I just want to say at this point - joey's should not be hand reared without a good reason, it is unethical to rob a mum of her baby!!!  3rd sentence down   Smiley

That is not the only reason why not to seperate from parents. I shall write a post later as to why. I completely agree with you though Marie. It is EXTREMELY UNNECESSARY.

Sian the reason that statement is there is because there are certain breeders that specifically offer hand reared gliders.

No need to get defensive Wink We all here agree whole-heartedly that it is unethical to remove a healthy joey from its healthy mother without a damned good reason...
