First of all, congrats Gliders come oop at about 60 days, but you can usually see lumps at about 30 days or so... Why would you have to handfeed a baby when it comes oop?? Do they have people going around to all of the wild glider colonies handfeeding their young? I don't think so The mother and father know what to do and will take care of them without your help (usually). Do you have all of the needed supplies in if the worst should happen and the mother rejects her joeys and you need to handrear? Handrearing is a very last resort, of course. The parents will leave the joeys in their nest when they come oop and sometimes may even take breaks in a separate pouch from the babies. It is completely normal and nothing to worry about.

When i bought my two gliders last year i had to hand feed my little girl drops of lactose milk 3 to 4 times a day...I think i had the little girl to early and was taken from her mother to early so the breeder could make a quick buck...Do i keep my gliders in the cage when the joeys are OOP because i let them come out and play every night..Also my cage in 5foot tall would i have to put them in a small cage when they are OOP just in case the joeys fall down..Getting worried now starting to panic but got to know...And no i've not got the needed supplies do think i should get them? THANKS Karl

If you are breeding, and obviously you are, you need to be prepared for an emergency, so yes, you need to get the handrearing supplies in.
You don't change anything about their day to day life when they have joeys.

I think there is a list on here that says exactly what you need to keep on hand for an emergency... Will look for you.

Please research more in to breeding, I get the impression you don't really know your stuff, it can be a nerve jangling experience, even experienced breeders end up tearing their hair out sometimes. It's called Lactol milk - not lactose milk, I wouldn't include anything that's dangerous for gliders!!!
However, I've found an even better milk, can't remember what it's called though, I'll check when I get home!
