I recently lost one of my gliders due to an infection that went too far and he couldnt be saved in time. Unfortunately, my female suggie isn't getting the love she needs and is extremely lonely since this happened (2 weeks ago) Shes very hard to handle since this has happened and due to problems at work n family, im finding it extremely difficult to get her outta this hard place. I really REALLY dont want to do this, so please dont anyone think i do, but i think i need to pass her on to someone who can do a better job that what i am Im not really sure how to go about it and was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere i could take her so that she can get the attention she needs. Any advice will be welcome, as long as its not nasty as i've tried hard to cheer her up but once u lose a loved one, i guess its difficult even for a suggie

It is terrible when you see your remaining glider so upset... I struggled when Rocky died and Mama started showing signs of depression...

Awww hun no one will have a go at you here for thinking of your glider, there are a few of us on here that take on rehome/rescue and rehabilitating gliders, I am sure Jen has already PMd you a list of people she recommends so I wont repeat the list as I am sure its very similar to mine, where are you located hun?
I know you said you have issues at home and I dont want to go into that as its your business not ours, but have you thought about finding her a female companion? or is it too difficult for you at this time? dont feel bad if it is at least you are being honest and we all have a change of lifesyle that effects everything.
chin up chuck I hope it all works out for you and your glider

i went through the same with my little girl holly, it was a struggle. it resulted in me buying another 5 gliders and slowly introducing them.
i dont think there is anything wrong with passing on your glider. my mam did it to holly (she was my mams glider originally and then she came to me).
