hi guys,
gizmo's new friend( we decided to call him sweep lol) has been itching tonight, my gf said shes noticed it last few nights...
he will lift front leg till its like vertical and scratch or rub the underside of him. is this normal and if not is there a flea or summin they can catch?

also ive recently put some pear tree in theyre cage but i scrubbed it twice in two days and poured around 8 kettles of water over it and left it to dry then put it in there, theres two bits and they go from bottom to top of cage lol.
have i cleaned it enough? could this have caused it?

My two both scratch their bellies that way and they do it fairly often. Does his belly look sore at all, and how often aprox does he do it?

I'm not 100% sure how to clean branches from gardens as I don't know anyone with glider safe branches in their garden Sad but I'm sure someone else will.

Oh and does it kind of look like he is waving? lol

That's normal grooming Ron, only worry if the skin is red and/or inflammed and/or there is hair loss.  Fleas are species specific, the chances of your gliders getting fleas (and the fleas surviving) are very slim. Smiley

fleas - i guess its possible that a cat flea could have a go but i doubt it'll last for long on a glider, sounds like normal grooming to me.  I love it when mine do the "wave" while having a scratch.
