Reason For Nomination: Although Gemma is an exotics specialist, this was her first Sugar Glider, she took the trouble to swot up on the necessary procedure thanks to a Powerpoint Presentation provided by Marie, she was very confident and reassured us as she took George to be neutered. She kept him for a few hours after the op to check he was ok and gave him some food and fluids.
Everything has gone ok and as it has been a learning experience for Gemma she only charged us £6 to cover the cost of the drugs, the operation was done free of charge.
Now that Gemma has her first two Sugar Glider patients on the books, she will learn a bit more about them in case of any problems in the future.
We are very happy and would recommend this vet to others.
