Can anyone give me some advice please my babies dont appear to be eating all their food like they have been previously and not coming out till late. The other night my female curled up in the wheel and kept licking herself i put my hand in very slowly so as not to scare her and she was ok she didnt get on me but i was able to stroke her she sniffed me but never bit i was worried about her but they are still active when out eat their cat biccies no problem its just there blended food they are eating some and i have been putting in a fair bit more as they were clearing the dishes and i have put in several new toys for them.I have read in a book that my daughter brought for me today that they could be bored although when they are out i sit and talk to them they dont stay out long but they are little maniacs in the wheel when out but as yet i havent let them out of the cage im waiting to get a tent as i think thats safer.I would also like to know if i need to get them wormed etc at the vets much appreciate any help given. Thanks

If it's a different mix then they probably don't like something in it.  Is it warm enough in their room for them?

Yes and no i did add some new mix on the side of an old mix that they normally eat like i said i increased the amount as they were clearing the plate they get 8 teasps each although i am decreasing because they are not eating it all any more. When i say old mix it is fresh out the freezer each day the new mix was the blackberry one they had abit but most was left.I also gave them a couple of small teasps of yoghurt which i dont usually do as a treat. It is a worry but in the short time they are out they are active i know they are out more when i decide to go to bed around 2/3 in the morning as they obviously eat the food then just not much. They are leaving more each night for the last couple of days.It is sometimes to warm but when i turn the heating down it gets to cold well it does for me i dont seem able to get a happy medium very draughty house but they are not in the draught.

I shouldn't worry too much, they're still eating just not as much.  Mine go through phases, sometimes the bowls are licked clean, other times there's most of it left!  Could be 'time of the month', could be they don't like the taste, could be they just don't need it.   Smiley
