Right, we all know how much gliders LOVE feathers.  Question is, my cats caught a bird the other day, i now have a collection of bird fethers, is it ok to give them to the gliders?  My main worry is that they may carry deseases, i know nothing about birds, is this a possibility?  I was gonna soak em in F10 first.  Whats everyones thought?  Yay or Nay?

I collect swan feather for the gliders, just make sure I wash them reall well first.  I don't think it's a problem.  My lot have never had any problems, anyways.

you know those cat teasers with feathers we play with the gliders with? they are dyed a certain colour, and Holly holds on to them like a bloody pitbull (seriously, im not exagerating!) and she salivates all over it. im scared about the dye. she has made some of the feathers go white (the ends where they connect)

although, i suppose if they safe for cats they should be safe for gliders right? am i just being a worried mum?

Personally I wouldn't give them the feathers off a bird your cats have caught.
