elvie poo!

« on: November 27, 2008, 04:25:10 am »

The girls havn't really been eating as much as they used to lately and last night they didn't eat at all. I noticed them sneezing this morning and the girls ears are kind of flat. Elvis is just sneezing, I didn't get a chance to look at his ears. I'm kind of worried! Should I be worried? The girls and elvis are still active and jumping around. I couldn't really get a chance to look at their poo to see if it was unnormal. I thought the girls were just sick of their old food so I made a new batch and thats the batch they didn't eat at all. They sometimes don't eat much though. The girls have strange eating habbits. Elvis cleaned his bowl though. I wouldn't be so worried if it wasn't for the sneezing. Help?Huh

I'd get them to a vet for a health check, they could have caught a chill.

Normally with 'sneezing' I'd say they are cleaning themselves because that;s what they do, they sneeze in to their hands and then wash!  But as the ears are flat and they seem to have gone off food, I'd definately recommend the vets.

We're going to take them to the vet. The vet is only their on fridays so the only day available is next friday the 5th. Is that to late? Is their anything I can do to help them? Should I make the room really warm?

If the suggies are poorly they'll need to see a vet before then really, how are they tonight?  They'll prob just get anti biotics, yes I would make sure the room is nice and warm, and that they are out of draughts.

They seem fine now. They're eating and their ears aren't flat any more and they are not sneezing. Their aren't any other vet offices near by that treat suggies and the vet at the office we go to is only their on fridays.

They ate all their food and their ears aren't flat anymore but they are still sneezing off and on. Elvis isn't sneezing at all anymore. I think they just wanted to make me worry.

I'm sure they're not grooming. When they do sneeze they are usually sitting around or climbing around. Could Really dry air be causing this?

no. It's just them in the room and their isn't anything in their that could be making them sneeze except some dust.
