im always getting colds and flu. at the moment i have a realy bad flu and was wondering if my gliders can catch it? to be safe my partner has been playing with them and feeding them. is it better if i stay away untill im better or can oi still play with them?

Your gliders should not be susceptible to the viruses you get. They are usually specific to certain species. It's always a good idea to wash your hands before and after you handle them and avoid coughing or sneezing in their faces.

i mainly asked because i know some animals can catch certian colds from humans, i though sugar gliders would be one lol i think im still going to stay a distance just incase  :hope:

Poor you!  As Dee has said, basic hygiene, wash hands after blowing nose, don't sneeze on them etc.  I thought Dinx caught my cold once but it turned out to be a chill!  Stupid me - long before I knew what I know now made a stupid mistake and my poor baby became ill!  She soon recovered though fortunately!
