its like, the first 2, the front and the bottom are huge, they are the scraping teeth for tearing and scraping off tree bark. there are other teeth that go further back that are jagged and like fangs. these are the chewing, tearing and general crunching teeth.
i would get a pic, but none of mine let me in their gobs. that and my camera is SHITE!

I just took some yesterday - I observed the draining of a few facial abscesses and took the oppotunity to photograph. Here ya go:  Just a little fact for ya - sugar gliders have 40 little teeth in that mouth. I have a glider who has lost at least 13 of his teeth, and he is still able to tolerate a "mostly" regular diet - some modifications with harder foods, but otherwise pretty OK. He eats very slow, though. |
