Hi, im not exactly sure how to post messages on this forum...hopefully ive got it right lol....ive opened the calculator on excell and it works fine but id just like to ask (n i'l probably seem like a right numpty lol) when i type in the amount of grams and press enter, are the numbers that appear in the cal and phos boxes the overall ratio? I'd just like to add that the calculator on a whole is a genius idea and once I understand it properly i'm sure its going to help me out loads

The overall ratio is displayed at the bottom. So enter all your weights scroll to the bottom and the ratio is there.

what am i doing wrong? when i manually work my ratio out it differs to what the calculator says
papaya 6 butternut 1.5 apple 1 mango 0.9 cat biscuits 1 =10.4/5= 2.08
however when i enter my weight amountsin the calcuator for those above it very similar. its up to 2.20
Am I using the calculator wrong or manually wrong?

It wont open for me either, said "error outdated server"
I have a question about the ratios. When you figure them out, are you using the actual amount of calcium and phosphorous in grams? or using the ratios of each to figure out a final ratio? That doesnt really give the correct ratio does it?

No, the calculator is not working. Long story ...
The ratios are a comparison between the grams of calcium to phosphorus in the fruit and this is how I was taught to work out dietary ratios when I was doing my degree.
