if she takes them back, they will just get resold. the breeder is still trying to say that they are 10 weeks so she dont give a damn.

I should go down there and play holy hell about this! At 10 weeks they are twice that size, and their tails are bushy! Report her to the RSPCA and explain to them she has sold your friend UNweaned animals which goes against the animal welfare act! And tell them she sold them without any advice or information about them.

Brainwave ... maybe they ARE 10 weeks old ... literally!!! 8 weeks IP and 2 weeks OOP, now THAT would make sense and would account for their size!

what im going to do is see what they like when they come to mine, so i am not mouthing off without seeing t for myself, if you know what i mean, so i got a bigger arguement, then ring the woman up and ask for the age. if she says 10 weeks, i will say, dont fukin lie to me, i know for a fact they are not 10 weeks. if she starts moaning, i will say that my frined will NOT be paying the other half for the gliders as they are too young to be away from the parents and to expect a RSPCA visit. then i will ring the RSPCA and let them know exactly what is going on and not accept no for an answer.

She's got to be stupid, wouldn't that be like saying I am 9 months older than I actually am, because I was in my mothers womb? lol.

maybe she dont know marsupial breeding. maybe she thinks ofit like a baby. its born, it gets wrapped up for a bit of its life, it starts to walk, then it can leave.
maybe she thinks when they are born, they are BORN, and then mum nurses them in the pouch, and then once they out the pouch, they ok.
if that the case, she a bloody idiot and i wont stop til all her gliders are off her. the poor mum is probs a breeding machine. she has orange fur apparently.

Rhi I think you need to go round and give your friend a hand to get some milk in to them. She's rang me but I'm at work so can't answer but rich text me to tell me she'd been trying to speak to me, the female isn't looking too good . Print off the handrearing sticky, grab some syringes and give her a hand ASAP.

Poor things... At their age, they really need their mother or a hell of a lot of human help.

Kelly has sent me some piccies of the tails via MMS, the fur is starting to seperate, so they're in the very early stages of weaning, still way too early to be taken from mum and so small!! Kelly has got some lactol, and I've told her to feed them every 4 hours (as they're so small) and they are also taking some of the mush which I've told her to continue with but feed milk too.
I'm gutted for the poor joeys, they must be terrified! Hopefully Kelly will be able to pull them through and have two wonderfully bonded little sweethearts!
