Hey again,
Ive got some random questions about suggies

I love to listen to music so would it annoy my suggies to have it playing quite loud during the day ?

Where my cage is going to go i used to have mould i got rid of it and sealed it then painted over that but would it affect my suggies in any way?

If i used an air freshner in my room would it confuse the suggies about my smell etc ?

Suggies are nocturnal(sp?) so i gather they use the room to see if its time for them to come out? Well im normally up till 4ish in the morning because im a pro-gamer Roll Eyes basically i play in tournements(sp?) over the internet and beat the best players in the UK for money(well ive only just started to do this) so should i turn off my bedroom light when it goes dark outside so it doesnt confuse my suggies ?

Thats about all i could think of atm but any help is thanked.

1) I listen to music all the time and it has never bothered my sugar gliders.  I do not play it obsessively loud though.. loud but you know when it's too loud it might be an issue.
2) I wouldn't think so but I guess too it would depend on the type of mold
3) It depends on the air freshener.  I have one that sprays a puff of scent every 18 minutes and that has never bothered my sugar gliders.
4) They use natural light the most.  However, having a constant light on and not having enough natural light/dark might confuse them.  I have heard of it happening, but never kept my sugar gliders in an area like that.

I hope that helps Smiley

Hi. I don't know if you have tried looking at the 'sugar gliders for sale' bit on here. But i think that someone from North yorkshire had some for sale. I have no idea about their reputation or anything (i'm sure they are lovely everyone on here is!) But keep your eye on there. Something will turn up. And good luck with your new babies when they arrive.

Hannah.

I don't know of any breeders in sheffield, but I'm sure there must be some.  Have you put an ad on here?

Okay really odd question here...

On a site somewhere, dont ask me where I cant remember, some one had put that sugar gliders need a uv light. I was just wondering if it was true.

Common sense tells me that it cant be true as they are a night creature and you dont have uv at night and the night reptiles that I have in dont acutally need uv!!

Any way just thought Id double check before I get my suggies after xmas

Erm... No? Cheesy I have never had a UV light on my gliders.  I know in warmer places, where gliders can be kept outside in large aviaries, people put a red heat bulb in their enclosure for when the temp drops.  Maybe that's what was meant?
