I was just researching them abit more, and i read somewhere tap water can kill them, is this true? what kind of water should they have :s xx

Hmmm, where are you researching? 

Tap water is fine, mine get it and have had it for 8 years, no problems Smiley.

If you're looking at US sites then their water purification system in some areas is nowhere near our standard.

It's good to look at lots of different sites, you just need to sift out the crap! Lol

I use an animal water bottle, water in bowls can become soiled or get knocked over.  Smiley
