I'm getting a bit concerned my Pumpernickel is reaching sexual maturity.  He sometimes chases Muffin around the cage, smells abit more & his bald spot is showing now.
l don't want any "cute surprises" so is neutering asap what I need to do?  He came oop May 4th but I've heard everything from 4 to 12 months is when they can start breeding?

Does anyone know of a Vet nearish to Coventry?  The closest one I've found is in London & charges £125 for the snip.

Hi Lottie... hope they're doing ok!!

Don't know about Coventry, but I've just switched to a vet in Romford as my own wasn't particularily confident with the gliders - he charges £69.25, so slightly better!

Yep, get him neutered ASAP.  I don't know of any vets near you, but I'd make sure you speak to them and make sure they know what a sugar glider is! (you'd be surprised!!).  My vet is along way from you but he's a dab hand now!  He charges £45 per sug.  I have a powerpoint presentation I can send to you to pass on to them if you wish?

Thanks Marie, that would be great! I don't mind going somewhere 1-2 hours as long as its a good Vet.

Ok, I'll email that over to you then, Dee has written some instructions HERE too.

My vet is excellent at neutering now, the last 2 he did you couldn't even tell!!  They were no different activity wise than normal.  We drop a male in and within half an hour he's done and bouncing around ready for collection which amazes the vet staff it has to be said!!
