hi everyone

one of my suggies, Halo, has a something not right and im panicing. he has a small pink 'bubble' looking thing coming out of his bum - i got him out of the cage to have a better look and it seemed to dissapear when he squirms in my hands but comes out again when he is crawling about. he seems completely fine in himself - completely happy and normal acting. im very worried tho - has this happened to any other peoples gliders?? pls get back to me coz i dunno what to do - the vets are all closed, pls tell me if he is ok? there hasnt been any change in diet other than a bit of yogart yesterday and theyve never had problems with constipation or anything. plsssssss someone get back to me soon

ok i just checked him again and he looks alot better. is a pink bum a sign of constipation? it looks alot better now, but im gona stay up to check on him. I feel a little silly for panicing... but at the same time a bit worried still. when i first noticed it, he was doing a poo... so maybe he over strained or something? I think i panicked too soon. sorry. pls let me know what you guys think.

Its ok panic is what we all do, if you are worried about straining or constipation add prune juice or prunes to his diet for a couple of days, it helps everything pass through a bit smoother

Sounds like a prolapse which has gone back in to place.  Keep an eye on it and add some acacia gum to his diet to help with the bowel movements.

no need to feel silly - checking things which are not normal is a GOOD thing to do!
