Hiya Its been a while since I last posted but I just had to tell you guys about what happened last night. We got given a bit of a treat ourselves, some quails eggs. My gliders are always rolling around on their balls(their toys) and trying to get inside of them so I gave them an egg to see what they would do. They spent about an hour stalking it and rolling around on it until it cracked. They were so surprised and happy that they literally cherped with joy. Its the funniest thing I 've seen in ages. Just thought I'd share. Anyone else tried them? they seem to love them. xxx

Now I'm pretty clueless and just play it by ear but I gave it to them raw. I figured they would eat them that way in the wild. And that it would be tricky for them to crack if cooked. I give them cooked egg to share once a week between 3 of them. If anyone knows that was the wrong thing to do then please let me know. I guess there is an element of risk coz of salminela(sorry spelt wrong) but they did enjoy the treat and unless dangerous I would do it again. xxx
