i know im always on this bloody help board, i apologise...

ok this has been happening for a few weeks at least.  when i log on first time in a day, i have no unread topics even when there has been replies.  today is a good example, there are a fair few new replies/topics but none in my unread topics... i have to scroll down and check if there have been any new replies or anything.  of course that causes a problem if there has been a couple of new topics or whatever in the same board, i would have to go into the individual boards to check them all or use the recent replies (or whatever its called) to check if there is anything new.

i hope you guys can understand me.  maybe its my ISP?  its talk talk, but i would not have thought it would have mattered about that tho.  any suggestions?

EDIT; oh yeah, when im online, the unread topics come up if anyone does anything while im still logged in

Think might be something for the wonderful Lou to look at as she understands these 'computer' things far better than I

possibly actually, I use FF and I have been testing it on and off since you mentioned it and everything seems fine. Is anyone else using IE with the same issues?

You might need to clear your cache. Set your internet browser to check for new pages (or something like that) every time you open the internet or log on.

Hope this is right as it's the easiest fix to your problem!

Because it only keeps your name active for a certain amount of time when you aren't doing anything on the forum Smiley
