Oh no Sad.  Fingers crossed here too!  I doubt it's a neurological disease though, it could be a toxin?  Is there anything they can get their paws on that they shouldn't?

No whenever they are out of the cage they are carefully supervised (I do have quite a few animals, so I have to be on guard) and there's nothing they shouldn't have in their cage.

As the male is fine I don't think it's anything contagious or anything in their cage.

Have a read of this SEIZURES to see if there's anything you think applies.  Did  the vet give her any fluids?

Yeah

The vet has given her some fluids, and I'm also feeding her baby food every hour or so and a little apple juice.

We have now decided to try to get a female joey, so that we'll have a trio and therefore I won't have to worry about any of them being on their own if this happens again - poor little Mog was barking all night last night for Gizmo  Sad

So if anyone knows of any female joeys for sale near Hertfordshire, it would really help

Thanks everyone

i would certainly wait for the little lady to be back fighting fit before trying to introduce another glider into the group, sorry, that might seem like a really obvious thing to say

Also, you need to introduce a glider of similar size, so if you go for a joey, she has to be quite an "old" joey (more teenage).

Hello, Got some bad news:

Gizmo died in my arms at 1:30 this morning. She didn't seem in any pain, she just lay in my hand and "shut down" almost like falling asleep.

Thanks to everyone who has helped throughout her illness, you have all been really kind
