most people get ones from ikea. cheap and basic animal housing. Alot of snake keepers use them when they have large number of snakes as it saves room rather then millions of vivs lying around.

I use them if i have a sick animal, just so i can warm them up quicker, or to seperate from the group. usually pop a heat mat underneath it, fleecy towel around the edges and a small bowl of mushed up food. Luckily, i havnt had to use one for years tho. *touch wood*

there not suitable for long term housing. not big enough and not enough ventilation. You wouldnt put any toys in with a sick glider. Just very basic towel, box, heat source, possibly food (depends on the severity of the illness).

Fingers crossed I'll never need one, but I'll be near an IKEA on the 9th so might pop in and get one with winter round the corner. Not that you'd have thought it today. Tropical  Grin

Bet it bloody rains when I'm off at the weekend!  Cry I have fri afternoon off though so will make most of it then. Roll Eyes
I've just got some super plastic-type stuff I think is meant to be like a table cloth kinda thing, that you can cut to size, so measured up 3 sides of cage to keep walls clean and help with any draft. Also gor some insulating thick material stuff to go on the outside of platic stuff if needed,so suggies cant'reach it and get claws stuck if it gets cold. Also got heat pad from Maries so fingers crossed I'll have the cold covered. Plus a little heater too!
Will still get RUB though, just incase, I'd rather be prepared just on the off chance anything happens
