I lost my little nibbler this afternoon, im really can't belive it, he was fine yesturday and last night climbing about, eating, snuggling in my dressing gown, he'd had runs a day last week but i stopped giving them yogurt and he was fine after his poop went back to normal.
I went to check him this afternoon as he usually has a nose about dinner time, he was in his pouch in a little ball, i got him out and he was weak so i sat down with him to have a look then he started fitting all of a sudden and died in my hands Cry it was awful.
I now have an 8 month oop female, on her own she is perfectly healthy and i don't know what to do, i know she wont be ok on her own, do i re-home her to someone with others? or get another nutered male or a female? Cry

You need to find out what yr male died of. Then decide what to do.

Sad I'm so sorry to hear about your little boy. One of my girls has started fitting recently, and it's horrible to see. I agree with Mark to get a PM done, if it was an infection you'll want to treat the female too!

get a PM done, and then you can decide what to do with her. You could rehome her to someone with gliders, or you can get another nuetered male or a female, or a neutered male and female.

Sorry for your loss! How awful!

I agree to get a PM done, but you don't have to be in a huge hurry to get her a friend. There's no reason to rehome her. Give her extra attention while you are waiting to get a cagemate for her. Spend some time finding another female or young neutered male for her.
