Found one of my girls cold and limp in her pouch a few hours back, have been shoving warmed glideraide & sugar water down her neck, drove to my brothers to get honey and phoned my vets, she is currently between my boobs and a heat mat and seems to be perking up, but all prayers needed please people!

Its not a heat problem, the group she was with seems to have turned on her recently and she has been terribly picked on, despite providing lots of different feeding stations and sleeping places i think she hasn't been getting enough food down her, even when the others aint picking on her she just runs away from them.  She literally will not go anywhere near another glider at the moment.  If she were a rodent i swear i'd say they were de-clanning.

She has just died in my arms (well hands).  Poor little girl.  She was really unwell when i found her but seemed to really perk up, then about 2 hours ago she went downhill and has just gone.  I've been up all night with her.  Whilst she wouldn't take any food she did take fluids, glideraide, honey & warm porridge.

Def. not a heating problem.  As i said she has been picked by the others, but has never been injured, they'd argue rather than fight.  I'd say she seems to have been seperating herself from the others for the past few weeks, perhaps maybe even 3 weeks, will avoid going near them or eating with them and has been sleeping on her own (although she has often done this anyway)  she had a favourite pouch which had extra blankets in so she wouldn't get cold on her own, i had feeding/drinking stations in various places in the cage (and the cage is large enough for her to be able to eat totally seperate from the others if she chose)  i was putting enough for 4 gliders in each night and it would be nearly all gone in the morning so even on the nights i didn't actually see her eating i am guessing she was and she didn't look like she had lost weight, although she has always been a tiny glider.  So not entirely sure what the problem was, the fact that she seems to have fallen out with the others over the past few weeks must mean that there was something wrong, but she appeared lively, good coat and was eating/drinking/pooing well and normally.  Poor little sausage.  Really having some crap crap luck with my gliders since moving to Beeston.
