If this Icelandic volcano continues spewing ash, what is the likelyhood that there will be a fruit/veg shortage? I've just come back from Asda and the shelves are desimated!

It won't be too bad a ratio as apples and pears are 1:1 and butternut squash is 1.5:1 (I think if I remember correctly). But don't worry too much, you obviously stick to the ratios so a short time with them not being perfect shouldn't make the slightest difference. Steph, just pm me your address and I'll send it over to you. You won't need another big pack for ages!!!

I've really been thinking about all of you as I have heard the news. To the questions about maintaining a perfect 2:1 ratio every day: Canges in the gliders' bodies and bones from lack of calcium happen over a period of time so feeding an imperfect ratio for a few nights is not a bad thing.
Sometimes we might choose foods such as spinach for their other nutrients, even tho the calcium in the spinach is not so bio-available.
