Poor Neo

This morning i had the gliders out before work, very energetic running n climbin all overthe living room n walls. Neo jumped on something and moved summit so jumped off and down, there was no big noise. The next I know and this is the first time since i got them heard happen. He was doing the barking thing, for ages. quite funny to hear but not with him being unappy.  He obvious startled himself.

When I went towards him to calm him down, he wud just run to the other side of the chair n continue barking.
I thought when they thought were in danger or scared they would jump back to me, he had no interest in jumping on me or let me touch him.

At the same time, Lara was on my back, but she was totally still, i was prodding her and not the slightest movement, even when undoing one of her claws. I thought omg lara has died on my back and thats what neos picked up on.

Eventually got her moving thankfully,neo must have scard her too and got neo to jump back in the pouch before going back in the cage.
Even when he was in the pouch and i was rubbing his head he was still barking for a little while. poor neo.

Neo was doing his job.  He alerted his colony member that there was something "dangerous" and she froze

It would have been whatever moved that startled him.  It was something he didn't understand.

It's called crypsis when they freeze like that.

I had lara on me yday and was on youtube n played a glider barking for few seconds, not loud, but she picked up and it and kept very still.

I didnt mean to tease or anything, but found it interesting.
