Hii, got my sugar gliders last week and I love them to pieces!! although I have been watching the female in detail as earlier I saw her layed on her back cleaning herself then it looked like she opened her pouch and did something in there.
Then I forgot about that but then when I took photos this evening I noticed two lumps on the photos that did make me think maybe shes carrying
I'm not sure how to insert the photograph but I will keep on trying! ahah

I did it  im proud. but yeah there does seem to be two bumps one the left and right hand side... but these are my first gliders so maybe others will be able to see ! |

haha i thought that!! I looked at photos other people had posted and they seemed too high, thought I'd ask though! .. yeah I thought she was abit of a chunk when I got her :p have to get her on a workout and keep her on a good diet! haha  thankyou. |

I agree with Jen, (Amalthea) the thing she may have been doing with her pouch is cleaning it, I've seen mine do that quite a bit She is a gorgeous suggie btw!! wub |

The lady I got them from said that they were 18 months old and I remember her saying they looked abit chunky. haha the one in the photo (togepi) is definitely the more confident one jumpin around the cage as soon as she can, but i noticed she also gets straight to the food as soon as she can haha. which is fine because I put just enough for 2 gliders in but if shes eating some of his portion too.. hmm i'm going to have to monitor this haha! I dont want her to get fat!! urgh Sugar Gliders are going to be an addiction haha, the nicest pets I've ever owned! so clever |

Make sure you give them enough food each night, so they don't completely clean their bowl. You always want a bit left over in the morning, so you know they both had enough to eat |

I can say there really addictive lol i love my suggies soooooo much i have had them 3 weeks n 4 days so still new mummy lol but i just love watching them eat and play and climb n jump and listen to there sounds. soooo cute by far the most adorable things ever but im a great animal lover soo i love most animals lol not spiders tho ewww i hope u have lots of fun with them  :sg: |

yeah dieting was a big thing I researched before I got them! wanted to make sure they got lots of variety. haha they are spoilt. I bought a pop up tent especially and got thick string and had it going all over the inside, thought it would be good for bonding with my scent in there with them and things for them to run and play on they were like jumping and running up my arms and on my back aha, they loved it! even let a few meal worms on the loose to see if they could find them. going to post my diet ina bit anyways. make sure its up to scratch hahah I bet i get addicted to this site too. so much good advice. so many nice people! |

yeah im thinking of getting a tent for mine i have seen one in argos thats i think wud suit them prob be buying it at weekend i have been feeding mine cat bics meal worms blended fruit mix suppliments etc there avoiding cat bics at the min so trying a new fruit blend tonight with them snuck in lol they will prob work out there in it and spit out the bits there clever like that. my Bill likes grooming my head kinda painful lol but he loves getting in my hair so i just let him suki is getting more confident now she loves climbing on me i was kinda freaked out the first time they climbed on me but i love it now im already addicted to this site lol but hey everyone is really nice and helpful tho u can ask any thing on here |
