Okay will do, It was only the night actually, today hes been sleeping all through until I wake him for feeding.  Smiley

Ive not seen him poo yet, He wee'd once or twice on his own and the cotton buds have toileted him fine too. How often do I feed him water? I'm a little unsure about that.

As you're feeding him liquid every 2-3 hours you don't need to give him water too unless he is dehydrated.  You do need to try and get him to poo, don't worry, it will be runny!  Dampen the tip of the cotton bud with warm water and rub down the middle of his abdomen gently towrds his cloaca.

Still no poo, not even a slight colour change.. Huh

Hes weeing fine without a problem when massaged and a few times without so im just guessing he has nothing to pass yet? Maybe hes gone without us seeing?  Undecided

Massaged his tummy and cloaca area for a good minute..

He seems fine in himself and is still enjoying the Lactol each feed time.  Smiley

Awwwwwwwww   Kiss  He looks to be doing well!  Well done  Grin

I'd tempted to start offering him baby food now as the fur is starting to bush out at the top of the tail.  Use the Ella's Kitchen range.  The favorite one here for loris and suggies is the strawberry and  apple.  Squirt a dollop on your finger and offer it to him after he's had his milk.

Hes loving the Ella's Kitchen Range and tried him on a dab of there normal food too and he laps it up. I think hes gonna be roughly 30 days OOP on sunday. Seems like hes progressing a little quicker though.  Smiley

That's fine, there are no hard and fast rules as far as hand rearing goes which is why I said earlier it's important to read the animal.  It's great he's doing so well, you're doing a fantastic job!

So a few other little questions,

When replacing food should we do it every other time we give him milk. So 1ml of milk, then fruit, milk, fruit. etc?

Should he start to be weaned off now or continue with the milk for another week and give the fruit a once a day as a treat almost.

Also, Hes in a small tank at the moment and hes slowly starting to be adventurous and move quicker. Should we upgrade him yet? I dont want him to get too cold or move too fast so just curious on peoples opinions.  Smiley

He's sooooo handsome!!!   Kiss

I'd offer him a bit of fruit babyfood every other meal along with his milk.  He may start to reduce the amount of milk he takes in preferance of the babyfood which is fine.

You could move him up now, he should be able to regulate his own temp by now, if you have a nice warm room to keep him in them you could move him in to a mid sized cage for now. Smiley
