Hey,

Looked all over the web and cant find anywhere that sells them near me (Im from motherwell, just outside Glasgow, Scotland)

Anyone know anyone who breeds them or any shops that sell them up here?

And also is it possible to have them delivered to you? Same way as in reptiles and fish etc.

Cheers,
Keith

There are several very reputable breeders here. You can check the classifieds but might need to be patient.

Most breeders won't courier.  I know when I sold gliders I liked to meet the new keeper to set my mind at ease.

I'm new to gliders (and don't know very much) but I happily move my rabbits and cavies and even the odd hamster by trusted courier but I really don't think I'd be happy to courier a glider.

They really are the most sensative little creatures I've ever come accross.

Good luck in finding your gliders, they are amazing animals - try looking on Preloved (I've seen some on there recently) but make sure you ask lots of questions and check with the breeders on here as they can best guide you what to ask and what to look for.

Hi,

I am also looking for my first set of gliders and its very hard to find any. I am very weary of getting them from ppl out of the paper or off the net etc as the breeding background is not always known and ya dont know if ya can trust just anyone.

Good luck in finding them matey, hopefully we will both be lucky enough to get some soon!

now I am one of the few breeders that will courier (I will only use one courier) but thats only because I am in the arse end of the country (Devon) I wont courier so far though as its from the bottom of the country right to the top. I just wanted to reassure you that not all breeders that courier are bad but do expect to get grilled by a good breeder that couriers.

Also alot of people sell on sites like pets classified and preloved, not all are bad (I sell my own animals on there) but again you need to grill potential breeders and expect the good ones to grill you back

Lou is an excellent breeder, and if she knows a good courier then you can rest assured it's a GOOD courier!  They are sensitive animals but when couriered they would be packed snugly and safely away in a carry case of some kind, and TBH it would be no different from the new keeper taking them home.   Smiley
