 :madcow:
I am not joking, around 6 different people who are saying they sell suggies,
have messed me around.

Now i do not know whats going on with 3 of them.

Apparently 2 were gonna come saturday, but hes been ignoring me cos i kept asking indepth questions.

Some are supposedly coming next week instead, but im very sceptical!

All i want is my babies! xD

I am so annoyed by all of this!

So many price variations, so many different means of transport, what to feed, what the previous owners giving different advice, different deals.

I cant keep up!

Theres a nice guy, but it means £250 for the pair, then buy a cage, then pay for delievery.

Its abit steep for just 2 x 3 year old males, not including anything.

£250 is the 'going rate' for gliders.  Maybe back off with the questions from the guy you're meant to be getting them from on Saturday?  If he doesn't know what he's doing anyway then he's probably feeling well out of his depth and maybe a little pressured?  As Mark said you could wait and get joeys, but yeah, so much conflicting information around it is hard to know who to listen to.  Hope you get everything sorted.

£250 is a good price i think for gliders. Most people up here sell gliders for £350, excluding cage and accessories.

I do not wish to sound like i'm complaining xD

Its mainly my partner, (its my money)
But he's putting his foot down on the prices.

I keep teasing him by saying im gonna get meerkats now.
and a raccoon baby, and a armidillo.

(showed him the adverts i saw on RFUK) aha!

I know, but i do not wish to pay for £70 for a courier,
then £100 odd pound on a cage, then £50 odd pounds on accessories,
so they wont get bored.

The guy with the 2 sugar gliders in exeter suddenly got back to me last night,
saying "ohhh, i can't get them to you saturday, my driver is being a 'tard"

lol

The problem with older gliders I'd yr not sure what yr getting. You said yourself the guys diet doesn't seem to good, so that can leaf to future costs if there's any diet related problems. We have had them a few times before where the so called cheap price has led to a much costlier vet bill and on going vet bills. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. I'm not saying that will happen to you but if this guy is messing you around stick to yr guns, go with that. An eBay cage and a good breeder won't cost you much more.

Found a lovely 3 tier cage (removing the tier separations)
with loads of goodies for them to climb and play with.
for only £40 in my own city Smiley

So i'm gonna call the woman who lives 30 miles from me,
asking if i can collect them tomorrow afternoon.

*fingers crossed, AGAIN*

see, as im unexperienced, i feel a bit of a troubled pair, wont do for me.

Yeah the guy in Exeter, is the one who was meant to be getting our sugars for us back along, he never did. And kept messing us about then aswell saying 'oh they'll be in this weekend, not couldnt collect them maybe in a couple of days...' and so on.
So we went and found a pair on our own. He got some in in the end and didnt tell us and kept them for himself, (which really annoyed me as i disagree with a lot of his 'methods') when we saw the signe saying they were for sale and asked him about it, he said that they were too much of a pain and too noisy. We were discussing vivs and somehow got onto the topic of their housing and as it turns out, they are being kept in a cage about the same size as A3 piece of paper (width and height)....I wanted to call the RSPCA or at least buy them off him, poor things.
Not only that but they think the female is pregnant.

Nice huh.
If only we had the space for a huuuge cage Sad

But glad you finally got yours in the end!

Was his name Jason?
xD
He infuriated me, kept ignoring me when i asked too many questions.
More interested in telling me about his relocation to INDIA.
=/

Well, i have my babies now for nearly 3 weeks.
Also have a kitten called Misty, who keeps trying to climb thier cage.
Which is why she is banned from my bedroom.

My suggies Furbeh and Gizzmo, are doing well.
The skinny boy is alot more vocal and put on weight.
The females stop being so bossy, and is lost weight, because the males eating, finally!
(instead of her scoffing everything)

I know how you feel. Its so hard to find someone you can actually trust as everyone comes across so nice when they are trying to sell something!
I have been let down now by 4 sets of different ppl that were selling me 2 joeys.
The first excuse was sorry I havent got as many as I expected so they are all sold to other ppl.
The second was yes they will be ready in 2 - 3 weeks and there are 2 girls left for sale and then the ppl fell off the face of the earth!
Its so awful to get your hopes up and be let down time after time.

He wasnt a breeder.
He had them as his girlfriend dumped him and left him with them.
He didnt really care for them.

His name was Jason but he's moving to India (or should of by now)

Suggies have been well since i last replied to this,
They have had 2 baby boys (doing OK, need some more weight gain)
And im recieving another pair of gliders this week or so.
From a guy in Surrey.

He seems nice and hopefully i'l get this pair aswell.
Bought a giant, old victorian style cage yesturday.
Im getting a 5ftx3ftx2ft cage tonight aswell
