Thinking of getting some SGs at a future point.
Would this be an option- a smaller cage and letting the SG's roam free a majority of the time, and wondered how solid their poo is?
Sorry for the nature of this question, just wondered how easy it would be to pick up, if its solid and dry or wet or runny or does it vary alot?
Thanks x

The poo is wet at first but dries quick, but can easily get trod into carpet, they can't control their bladder either so wee when they feel like it. The problem with a small cage is that unless they are staying out when yr in bed, their height of activity they will be locked in a small cage.

Thank you, large cage it is then! I suppose they could run around while i'm sleeping but think I'd be worried something would happen to one of them while I wasnt watching...

As Mark said, larger cage is best.  I wouldn't let them run around when you're sleeping, most people allow their gliders out for supervised playtime for a couple of hours a night.
