Lara is poorly again. She was fine earlier today or maybe I hadnt noticed.
Gave them dinner and was checking up on them a bit later to let them out and noticed lara mouth not closed on one side. At first thought her tongue was sticking out but think it was her mouth. I opened it up a little and I think I could see two white spots, which I presume are Ulcers.
Anyone else had these before.
I feel so sorry for Lara

Take her to a vet. Check her hands, feet and nose for tiny ulcers. Look really hard as they are tiny. I don't know what it is and I don't know how to treat it but I know it's very unpleasant.
I'm not saying your Lara has the same condition one of mine had and I hope she hasn't but please check. But definately get her to the vet, she's been ill a little too often for my liking.

yep im off all week so will ring first thing to take her through.
A few mins after i noticed the ulcers. I tried to give her a dose of baytril. I still had a little spare as he gave me extra just incase she was bad again. I thought it worthwhile to get a little of it into her system as a precauton and help her quicker. When I offered it wiv yoghurt, didnt seem to be stickng her tongue out, so not sure if she actually got that much, she can smell the baytril a mile off.
Checked her hands and feet and seem clear

You shouldn't self prescribe, you could do more harm than good. IF it's what my girl had, Baytril won't touch it anyway.

Sounds like an absess. A trip to the vets for antibiotics and possibly a drain. The white is actually the nictitating membrane or third eyelid, the eye isn't twisted so don't worry too much about that, but you definately need to get the absess sorted as it cold burst and release toxins in to the blood stream. Have a look at the pics on this thread - http://www.sugar-glider.co.uk/smf/index.php/topic,3987.0.html is that what it looks like?

I see some similarities.
I had a little baytril left so gave her some, however i think I read that its effectiveness wares off. last time i was at the vets he asked if i had some from my previous visit to use.
Seeing as rhiannas glider had big improvement after one dose, mine mustnt be any good.
Gave her it couple days ago, however it much worse overnight. she spits most of it out when i put it in her mouth, so difficult 2get it in her, knows its in food or yoghurt.
Vets it is!
She been making this sneezin noise alot too. not the squeeky talking noise

Baytril isn't really the best antib for abscesses, asnyways.... I think it was synulox that is better for that type of infection, but speak it over with your vet. The only reason baytril is always the first thing vets perscribe is it's the only one licensed for small critters, so you may have to signa waver to use something else.

has anyone ever experienced or known a glider, to have a strand or two coming out of their bum., maybe half a cm-1cm. When she was poorly last time with toilet trouble etc these two strands came down. Ive mentioned it to the vet twice and he was going to look into investigating the anatomy of gliders of what could be.

You shouldn't keep self prescribing her Baytril, you said you were going to throw that away last time, it's dangerous to self prescribe, some antibiotics won't touch certain things and others will.

with regards to the things coming out of her bum you need to get your vet to do a faecal test to make sure she does not have any internal parasites, parasites can actually knock an animals immune system to bits which could be an underlying problem with everything else as her body just cannot fight infection hence the other illnesses

I never saw this! Are you sure she is female and not a neutered male? Sounds like that could be male anatomy. What colour are they? Males have what is called a bifurcated penis, it basically splits in to two 'worm like' strands which do sometimes come out when toiletting.
