very worried

Hi Guys,

Am posting this on urgent as my sister who has been looking after my suggies while i have been abroad for the last 2 weeks has only just informed me of this problem and now im worried.

Apparently she has noticed that for approx. the last week or so they have been sleeping in different places from eachother - one in their pouch and one in their nesting box, whereas they would always sleep together before i left. Apparently there have been some loud noises coming from their cage that my sister thought sounded aggressive and violent although I know these sounds could also mean other things like breeding.

The suggies are both around a year and a half and are an unrelated male and female so is it possible that my female is pregnant, taking into consideration the strange noises and the separate sleeping arrangements? ive tried to google suggies sleeping in different places from eachother but so far havent managed to find anything. Am incredibly worried that they have perhaps been fighting and are not getting on anymore which would break my heart, as in the 5 months i have had them i have seen no sign of them ever not getting on.

Someone please give me some advice as I am really worried, especially as I cannot see them until Friday!

If there are no signs of injury then I shouldn't worry too much. Ask your sister if she can watch them for a while and look at their behavior, what's going on when they are making the noises. Are they squabbling over food, is he harrassing her for breeding?

They could also be unsettled because you're not there and they're not getting the amount of attention they are used to.
