I know she's not a glider, but i thort she still deserves a memorial.
Chloe one of my gerbils developed a scent gland tumor about a week ago. It grew to a huge size really quickly, i barely had time to notice it before it grew so large. Anyways, since then, the weight dropped off her and her breathing has become laboured. She looked like she was going to pull through, cos she started eating again and the tumor (which she had been biting) has closed up and was starting to heal. However last night, she took a decrease again, and i am now making the decision to take her to the vets for her final journey at 12 today.
I know it sounds stupid cos she is "just" a gerbil, but she was a lovely little gerbil and will be a well missed friend.

Not 'just' a gerbil, a life is a life, they're our pets and we love them regardless of their size. I'm really sorry Rhi  RIP Chloe. |

well, she went and never came back. I feel better now though cos i know it was for the best, and i think she was asking me to do it. Her little face just begged for help. But i feel better now knowing that she not in pain or distress no more.

She wasn't JUST A gerbil. She was YOUR gerbil. She was obviously important to you and you knew when her time was up. Well done. It took kindness, love and bravery to make that decision. I'm very sorry.

She was your pet and you loved her so she wasn't "just" anything, your putting her out of her pain, thats the kindest and bravest thing i've ever seen, r.i.p Chole. Your mummy loves you lotsx x
