I don't think he's ever learnt to "glide" so this is Plop

I had him free roaming round my hotel room last night and he really was as good as gold went back in to his temporary cage when I asked him to (with a few forward hand gestures!) but he really doesn't know how to glide, he climbs up on everything okay but just goes PLOP onto the floor, do you think he'll get the hang of it??

He's in his new cage snuggled in his new pouch, I can't wait to see him tonight he's going to be so excited to see his new cage it's so big compared to what he's used to, oh and "proper" food too  Grin

Woohooo - hello Plop!!!  He looks really well for a rescue, but still give him calcium supplement on a daily basis though, you just can't tell what's going on inside!  Congratulations!  Grin

Oh, and yes, with a bit of encouragement I'm sure he'll learn to glide Smiley

doesn't he look well? I also thought that I was expecting him to be a little scrawny!!

I didn't see him at all last night, he still wasn't up by the time I fell into bed about half 10pm but this morning his cage is a bit of a mess so he's had a house warming party all by himself  Wink

Bits of fruit splattered all over the place  Grin and yes he's getting the suppliments you sent me Marie, thank you

Poor plop being saddled with a name like that he'll be kicked out of the Glider Club...a glider that can't glide but just goes plop! Cheesy

lol he's a sugar plop instead of a sugar glider!!

he's making headway though we had him out last night (well he let himself out!) and he's "falling" a lot more gracefully so we are slowly making the transition from plop to glide  Smiley

I have to admit, after 8 or 9 years of keeping gliders, I still never get bored of seeing their adorable little faces!  Sooooo cute.  Kiss

Yes, sadly it is - he does everything "right" except the glide part, he just lands PLOP on the floor, really dissapointing as I had some really awesome names lined up for him!!
