Just a unrelated question,
I handle my oop babies daily, yet they continue to crab, but dont try and bite or get away from me.
Its just random crabbing. As these are my first babies, is this normal?
They'l be okay for 10-15 mins then crab on/off. Then stop doing it.

Oh they are into thier 7th week, starting 8th week soon, but are still quite small at 40/41 grams today.

Also they were fine, it suddenly started after gareth crabbed once, now he just starts every time i look at him or go to touch him.
=[

Gordons quite quiet.

They were due to go to thier new homes 21st. But i kinda doubt it now.

I handled them in front of mum after handling her, so i would smell like her. And my smell wouldnt get onto the babies for the first 4 weeks. Now iv been taking them away for upto 30 mins. Then a further 30 min play in front of her later, after theyv fed

You live in the north east though =[
I live in southampton, its on the london commute so we get london prices at times.
I go to PETVET, its just closer.

I was reading this thread and see you live in Southampton - me too! We've have just had Dexter neautered, we took him to Christopher Carters in Shirley and I couldn't reccommend them enough. We saw a lady called Sue, she was very honest and said she had never done a neautering on a glider before.

When we took him back for his post op check up she actually thanked us for bringing him in to her, she said that she had spent hours researching them and even phoned Marwell Zoo for advice! She genuinley seemed to care about Dexter and kept asking us loads of questions about him.

We paid £45 for a pre and post op check up and the neautering, don't know if that is expensive, but I thought it was reasonable.
