Ok we keep reptiles and have 2 large reptile rooms, due to our cats we would like to set up sugarglider home in the larger one of our reptile rooms but wanted to check if this was ok, there is a few reasons I would like them in there...
I could have them out for at least a few hours a evening  without any hassle from my dogs and cats ...so less stress for the gliders.
My rep room is always warm and kept at around mid 20s.
Its a nice quiet room.

Does this sound like a good place for them Huh I really want to make sure I put them in the right place/

I, personally, don't like keeping any prey animals within sight/smell of reptiles like snakes....  I would imagine it'd be frustrating for the reps being able to smell prey all the time and stressful for the gliders being able to see and smell them all the time.  *shrugs*  But that's just me.

I understand what you're saying Jen, but I personally think a rep room is perfect due to the temps and humidity.  We used to keep a mouse colony in our rep room, they were meant to be for feeders but we didn't have the heart to bump them off and feed them!  Lol!!  The mice were not bothered, they just went about their business, and the snakes were fine, they were not anymore aggressive (lucky considering they're venomous!).

The only thing I would say is make sure the snakes can't get out because they would treat them as prey. I know there are a lot of people that keep reps and gliders in the same room without any problems.  But I stress again - security is extremely important - but I'm sure you know that anyway  Smiley.

What reps do you have?

We already have pet mice in there (again couldnt bring ourself to bump them off for food lol), we have Royals, boas, corn snakes and various lizards all are kept really secure....Im REALLY strict on making sure all the vivs etc are secure as read too many stories about escaping snakes/lizards.
I just didnt want the gliders stressed.
Thanks for the advice Smiley

To be honest nothing acts like it does, and I never have the mice so they can see the snakes and vice versa, I suppose they can smell eachother.

make sure the gliders are secure too when i was at college the python was never hungry but not getting thin so we stuck a camera in the viv to watch him and wild mice were getting into his viv and he was feasting on them! they were getting in through the light fittings i think but pretty scary stuff if it was a glider and how accident prone they can be
