I'm a bit confused, did you buy a pregnant female or do you have a pair other than the young male your aunt gave you? How long have you had the young male?  And is it possible he is the father?

I'm assuming you mean you can see the bump?  If so she has already given birth and the joey has crawled in to her pouch where it feeds on milk and grows.

Before breeding you really should have done your research, gliders are well known for cannibalising their young if they are stressed, the environment isn't right or if the diet is inadequate.  And if the young male isn't the father then there is a chance he could kill the joey, but you could cause stress to both the male and the female by removing him which again could result in the joey being killed.

If you already have a pair and you have an adult male in the cage already then it is not safe to put a new male joey in there with him.

my aunt gave me a pair of gliders..and she took back the male..now my glider is living with a new male joey which is not her baby..

by having the male joey together with my glider, will it cause any stress to my glider?

I saw a bump on the right side, does that mean she already gave birth and the joey is inside her pouch?
when will the joey leave the mother's pouch?

im sorry im also confused? Is this right:

Your aunt gave you a pair of gliders, then took away the male from that pair and gave you another male in its place, so you have the pregant female from the existant pair and the new male together?

Why would your aunt do that?

By putting another glider in there with her you have already risked stressing her out.  And yes, the joey is at risk from a male that is not it's father.  But splitting them up could cause further stress!

The joey is already in pouch, please research keeping gliders, they're not 'that' easy. Their diet is not straight forward, they need keeping warm and in a stress free environment.

Also, what are you feeding them?

Splitting up a bonded pair is pretty cruel, too... Sad Poor Mama must be really stressed.  The father of the babies helps out a lot in the later stages of "pregnancy" (when the joey/s in pouch) and after the joey has emerged.
