Hi there

I have been in touch with someone through Preloved.

They are what I presume to be some kind of broker.  However they do have a website: http://www.doorstep-pets.co.uk/

He has two boys for sale but has asked for the cash first so that he can then buy them and sell them to me.

I am presuming this is all legitimate but just wondered if anyone knew whether this was usual practice for someone to ask for cash up front?!

Many thanks in advance for any advise

U need to keep away from things like this. You should never pay for an animal upfront to someone you don't know or before you have seen the animals. A slight deposit is ok but never the full amount.

I know... I am wary.

However I get the impression from his website that they are a charity to help the mentally challenged, so could explain why he cant afford the initial outset to pay for them.

He has asked me to use Paypal... which of course gives some kind of protection...

Hmmmm....

He has two males available but has got to buy them first?  I agree, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole either!
