Hi all, has anyone used a small tent for bonding time with their suggies? It seems to be popular on the internet but I wondered if you think it's a great idea or not (being new to all this it seemed a bit 'out there' but it seems to
Work for some folks!)

Any comments gratefully received!

Thank you Grin

Mine is great, i bought it in a sale on Amazon. the only problem was i could not work out how to pack it away and had to watch a demonstration to understand how to do it! now i can put it up or down in seconds. would recommend.

Ah, Amazon......I'll have to have a look then! Sounds like a good investment and a brilliant safe way of bonding with the little'uns!

Thanks lots for the comments!

A tent is brilliant for bonding in my opinion as it encourages the gliders to interact with you due to the limited amount of space.  You can let your suggies run free (in the tent) without worrying about where they are and you can instigate play with them too Smiley

yes these are great, when i got my two gliders both from diffrent places, they were 1 and 9 months old and neither were used to being handled. so i got one of these tents and it did,nt take that long for them to get used to me, they would run all over me in the tent, i also introduced them in the tent aswell as havin there cages next to each other, cause neither one had been living with a glider friend before, after a bit of crabing from the female when ever me or the other glider went near her, she very quickly came round far quicker i think than any other methord would have done Smiley

That answers my next question, may have to invest in a tent!

How long would you spend in the tent the first few times you go in it with them? Don't want to over do it but do want them to bond with me and do everything in my power to aid this without smothering them either
