When my suggie was up playing this morning, I noticed her nose looks darker than ussual it looks a bit purple. It's a little bit darker than my other gliders noses. I herd them squabbling last night, so I thought maybe she had been bitten and it's swelled a bit, but there's no cuts or scratches? I'm going to try and get a photo to put up, she won't stay still!

They all look fine to me, but just make sure they're warm enough and properly hydrated.

Better to be safe than sorry Have another question will put it here, can't be bothered to make a new thread thing. You know the metal wheels with the gaps in, your not supposed to use for suggies. Are they safe for mice, chinchillas and deugs? I started a animal care corse in a collage and all of the wheels they use are The metal ones.

Better to be safe than sorry, don't worry, we've all done the worried suggie mum bit Wire wheels are not safe for any animal! They are dangerous because of the exposed moving parts and should be scrapped! Shocking that a college doing an animal care course would have them in their cages!

Just because my suggies have quite a few berries and cherries in their mix, so it comes out a deep red/purple colour no matter what other fruit I put in their and they stain their little paws and faces with it for a bit until they groom properly

I'm really upset that they are using the metal wheels I will be talking to the head of the animal department about it!! They teach you about animal health and safety, but they obviously don't know much about it if the people one the course is having to point things out to them! I have a few spare plastic wheels I will take in. I hope they agree to use them instead. I thought about donating some of my mice to them but I'm definitely not now.

they shouldnt use the metal wire ones especially for animals with tails like gerbils and mice cos the tails can get stuck in the bars and rip off. Barbaric things metal wire wheels.
