ive had my boy & my girls living in adjacent cages for a while now ,
ive been swapping pouches & cage furniture (toys etc) for a while too.
they seem to show an interest across the void between the cages but so far havent been close enough to touch each other .
until tonight that is .
lyle decided to take a leap off me & onto the other cage so i thought i'd leave him & see what happened .
he ran up & down the girls cage chattering away & they both came running up on the inside & they all sniffed & pawed at each other .
lyle was making the kind of noise you make to an animal to get it to come to you (like sucking air between your lip & teeth)
he pulled their tails through the bars & seemed to be grooming them .
im wondering is it time to let them all meet up without the bars between them ?
i also read on here that a meet should be done in a neutral cage .
i already have 2 rather large cages & my only spare one is only maybe half the size of these

should i just go with using one of the already inhabited larger cages ?
if something kicks off i reckon a larger cage gives more scope for escape from a fight
