I've only been bitten the once, and I intend to keep it that way! It was probably my own fault as I was holding a small container of mealworms at the time and the smell of the main container must have transfered on to my little finger. It certainly drew blood! lol

Tilly & Zac (RIP ZAC)

« Reply #16 on: September 20, 2011, 07:45:41 am »

Zac (RIP) never once bit any of us, he was a kind soul but Tilly quite regularly gives us all (what i call) a nip!!!

It isnt a bite, i know she could do it much harder and break the skin if she wanted to (i once tried to handfeed her a mealworm, never again, she drew blood and i nearly cried lol) it is what i thought was a 'warning' not to mess with her, she just does not seem to like been handled much, but if i get her in the right mood i can keep my hand around her in the bonding bag and once i have got to her tummy she does not mind that at all!!! i just think she just does not like been handles so much as Zac did.

She doesnt 'crab' at us and will sit on us and run on us when she is out so i dont think she is really angry but it is enough for us to think to leave her be.  I just want to pick her up and carry her around like i did my little Zac but she wont have any of it lol
